We have had an eventful and successful 2017 with the official launch of the HMSA website at a fun filled medical dinner meeting in November. The evening was equally informative as it was social with doctors of all specialties and in primary care in attendance. Another highlight of the year was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the HMSA and the Global Greek Institute of Greek Doctors. This occurred on the sidelines of the very successful Health Tourism in Greece conference, which was held at the Greek Centre and attracted a number of highly renowned medical presenters from Greece and Australia. Also in attendance was an entourage of Greek politicians and media from Greece.
2017 saw the continuation of medical lectures to the general public held at the Greek Centre in Greek. We are blessed to have a large and quality medical profession of Greek background in every discipline and who are willing to provide this service to the first generation of Greek migrants. We welcome all HMSA members to be involved in future talks. In early 2018 we will host a grand social function for all our members. We will also commence the educational seminars with a paediatric focus for the general public. Details to follow soon. We hope to see you all there.
